I am going to start this off with I knew a little bit about this man, but I really learned about him during my research. His views DO NOT reflect my views in any way. I am a different type of person. I do not believe all serial killers are trash, yes they are wrong for killing people, but this man is trash! I will also put this out there, since he was executed, I do believe in the death penalty. I know not all people believe in it, but I am one who does. Let’s dive into the man known as Joseph Paul Franklin.
Born on April 13, 1950 James Clayton Vaughn Jr was born in Mobile, Alabama. He was born into a poor family. He was the oldest son of James Clayton Vaughn Sr. He had 3 siblings. James Clayton Vaughn Sr. was a World War 2 veteran. He worked as a butcher, and he left the family when James Jr. was only 8 years old. Whenever he would come see his children he would beat them.
